The Pono Collection

I have washed them in the shower, since it is filtered water and the washing machine is not, just to keep them clean from toxins. I was concerned about the bending over at the gym. Hubby said i am good to go. And takes a while for any sweat to start to show and that is if i am going hard in beast mode pushing sleds and doing ropes. (bc i cant wear panties underneath my butt will eat them and then it is annoying and slows me down. i need to be free to move about the gym, sans wedgie) I ordered a S and a M just to make sure, i am able to use both. I have muscular and toned legs with a really nice butt so i def will use the medium for longer pants so it is not tight on my calves. In case you needed a funny review, but it is all true bc yoga butts are hot.

I have skin allergies and (per recommendation of my dermatologist) I looked for organic cotton pants and bought these Pono Pants (brown). I loved that this is a company that produces in small batches.

Pros: I love the cut and comfort of these pants.

Cons: I am seriously concerned about the fabric dyes used. I have washed these pants separately 7 times and they still release dye. The first time that I soaked the pants in cold water, the water instantly became dark brown (in cold water?!!).
It does not seem skin safe. And it is not really sustainable (how much water does one have to use?). I used them once (after washing 7 times) and they stained my underwear. I am not sure I will use them.

I encourage this company to increase the quality of their dyes and monitor their operations associated with dyes.

Prano pant are great! they fit perfect a small i’m 5’7” 123 lbs. The material is awesome and a nice light weight. I’ll be getting more. thank you!

I love the Luana pant it fits amazing I also have 2 pair of the Luana Capri and wish you had more sizes.
The Pono pant for me is a bit too form fitting and runs very small. I usually wear a small or medium if I want roomy but the medium is even small. I will wear them but not as comfy as Luana. I see Luana is close outs bummer because it’s the best Capri and pant I have owned for comfort and softness. Thank you for your amazing clothing and commitment to organic.

These pants are soft comfortable great for yoga and picklball ..

Fit like a thicker pant (you cant see the in between spots) but the cloth is thin and moveable, not see through. Thank goodness. Otherwise people in the gym might hold up a score card rating. 10/10

I paid for two Pono capris and only received one

I took a medium, not sure if it would be the correct size. The capri fits perfectly. I love organic, especially because I am sensitive to chemicals. Very thankful I bought them.

I bought these on closeout & absolutely LOVE the fit & style of these capris! They're so comfy & fit great. Wish you weren't getting rid of this style. :(
