Thank you for your recent review of the Luana Pant. Your feedback is very valuable and we appreciate it!
Never a need to apologize.
We change to a “Tagless” method of labeling our clothing for environmental reasons. The Tagless printed 'tag' replaced to silk tag in 2020. We choose to do so to cut down on our consumption of raw materials. The new Tagless method is non-toxic and has an extremely low carbon footprint. Unfortunately the silk tags do not. That being said, we understand some customers have a strong preference for the silk tags and we are taking that into consideration.
Regarding the fabric, we are sorry it feels too thin to you. We actually used a heavier weight fabric this time. The original fabric was 11 ounce, like the Pono Pant. This time we used the 13 ounce, same as our Moana pant so if it feels thinner to you, I’m not sure why. Every batch of fabric is different due to the organic nature of natural fibers. Slight inconsistency’s can’t be avoided as every cotton crop is naturally different. The heavier fabric weight is the only change we made to the manufacturing of our Luana Pant this time. Everything else is identical.
Regarding the soft feel, I think you’ll find these pants to be extremely soft after a few washing’s. At least that is my experience. I hope you find the same.
We are very appreciative of you taking the time to review our Luana Pants. If you have further questions or comments we are always happy to hear from our customers.
